A Kenyan man and his wife were found dead at their home in Jersey City on Monday morning.
Correspondent reports that the body of Lydia Okongo, a 40-year-old, was found on the first floor of their house on 2 Mina Drive. She was shot several times in the head and torso.
The body of the man, 51-year-old Henry Okongo was found in the basement with one gunshot wound to the head.
Police suspect the man killed his wife before committing suicide as they found a gun next to his body.
Henry had run a laundromat in the area for more than 20 years while his wife was a nurse. They had a baby boy and girl aged three and one respectively.
Other sources said the children were inside the house at the time of the incident and that a relative found the bodies.
