Kenyans were on Monday,November 20 2017, thrown into surprise after three people; two men and a woman were arrested in connection with theft of KSh 50 million from Kenya Commercial Bank in Thika.
According to police reports,the three dug a tunnel under the bank which they used to access the bank’s strong room from a nearby building.
The suspects are said to have dug the tunnel for a record six months after they rented the stall which sits directly opposite from Thika Police Station.
Well,the dramatic heist left many Kenyans in awe as they tried to come to terms with how the suspect(s) managed to pull it.
While a cross section of Kenyans condemned the robbery,quite a number were impressed judging by a challenge that rolled out on the interwebs just hours after news about the robbery broke.
Thousands of Kenyans on Tuesday,November 21,rolled out the KCB robbery challenge,leaving countless netizens in stitches.
Quite a number of Kenyans used buckets and other hollow items to imitate the tunnel.
Others went over board and hit it from outside the box with some of their funniest renditions of the KCB Thika branch heist.
