Her name may not ring a bell to many but in Nollywood, Connie Kabarry is a known and respected name so much so that she has been nominated for a coveted excellence award.
Riding high with her recent Nollywood production, ‘Almost Perfect’ which premiered in Kenya early this year, her talent is finally being recognized after she was the only Kenyan to be nominated in the prestigious ‘Nollywood Excellence and Leadership Awards’ (NELA).
Excited, the pretty actress took to her social media to break the good news as congratulatory messages continue to pour in.
”When God says yes!Our Kenyan’s living in Nigeria, our East Africa brothers and Sister’s who lives in Abuja I need your Support on this day,al be in Abuja on the 30th of September as you can see am A nominee and will be glad to have any Kenyan around!God is really good!” she posted.
The businesswoman and mother of four got her lucky break after she was introduced to one of the top Nollywood actors by a family friend.
After meeting with popular Naija actor John Okafor aka Mr Ibu, she was invited for auditions and after successfully going through the casting bench her acting career was kick started in 2017.
