Kenya’s Most Hilarious Moments On Social Media For Year 2017

Kenyans are famous for making fun of everything even during serious times. 2017 has been an interesting year thanks to Kenyans on social media.

Kenyans went a buzz with this eyewitness challenge everyone trying to emulate the eye witness man in very comical ways. Others even went to the extent of using parts of a gas cooker.

It is funny how a simple and normal move can be made a rib cracker. Martin Kamotho famously known as Githeri man’s story was a source of joy all through the election period. It even brought together Jubilee and NASA supporters. Surprisingly, he was awarded Head of State Commendation, Civilian division by the President during Jamhuri day, 2017.

Kenyans took the Wanjigi challenge to a whole new level. They did the challenge with friends where they imitated the iconic Wanjigi as he addressed the press in his home in Muthaiga with his wife, Irene Nzisa, holding him tightly the whole time. NASA co-principal Moses Wetangula on the other hand held his chest.

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s son Muhoho Kenyatta provoked mixed reactions in Kenyan’s online platforms with the fact that he can’t speak in Swahili unless with the help of a mobile phone. This happened when he accompanied the deputy president William Ruto to Nandi County.

KCB bank was sarcastically criticized when 50 million was stolen from their KCB Thika branch. The perpetrators dug a tunnel that gave them access to the bank’s vault. Kenyan’s trolled them on social media since they associate themselves with a ‘lion’ and the bank neighbors also police station.
