The outspoken legislator forced he way into the airport to receive coalition leader, Raila Odinga.
She dared the security officers to shoot her as she walked past the barricaded entrance.
”Kill me, shoot me, kill me. Why are you profiling us, kill me today, kill us.
I am an elected leader elected by Kenyans. Why would I be stopped from getting in, why shouldn’t we be allowed to get into the airport to welcome him as our leader, should we come on our knees?”
Before Odinga’s grand welcome, opposition supporters engaged police in running battles after being barred from making way into the airport.
Cars were torched and bonfires lit by the rowdy supporters who are currently headed to Olympic Grounds where the former Prime Minister is expected to address the nation.
Three people including one police officer have sustained injuries.
