KTN Anchor Yussuf Ibrahim Quits

KTN Prime anchor Yussuf Ibrahim on Wednesday night declared his exit from the Mombasa Road-based Standard Group TV station.

Through his Twitter, the stay demonstrated that he had quite recently facilitated what would have been his last show at the station.

“I want to bid farewell to all KTN Kenya viewers. Today marks my last day with KTN. It’s been an amazing journey.

“I now look forward to a new position that brings forth new challenges and adds more diverse experience to my career. Thank you all for the support,” the anchor stated.

Since joining the station in April 2017, Yussuf has been hosting several shows including The Big Story and a weekly African program Bottomline Africa.

Prior to joining the station, Yussuf worked for over four years at K24 TV between January 2013 and March 2017.

He also served as a reporter at Citizen TV between July 2012 and July 2013.

Yussuf graduated in 2011 from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Media.

Following his exit, fellow journalists from the station took to social media wishing him well in his future engagements.

Ali ‘Mwamvita’ Manzu stated, “You are the best definition of Mungu mbele Kaka. All the best”.

Yvonne Okwara-Matole ‏added, “All the best bro! I can attest to your diligence, hard work and great spirit! I enjoyed working with you. God bless in your next assignment!”

“We wish you all the best friend,” Lindah Oguttu remarked.
