Larry Madowo Open Up On Why He’s Resigned From NTV

The TV character who made his name on the Trend and The Front Row daily paper segment, has at long last given it up. This comes a long time after his tutor and previous General Manager Linus Kaikai of the organization was sacked.

“I OWE MY WHOLE BROADCAST CAREER TO @KAIKAILINUS; THE BEST BOSS A JOURNALIST CAN EVER ASK FOR. I’M GUTTED TO SEE HIM LEAVE @NTVKENYA TODAY.‬ ‪IT’S THE END OF AN ERA HERE. IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN. GOODBYE AND GOOD LUCK!‬” MADOWO SAID AFTER LINUS EXITED NTV
Madowo has broken the news via his social media. He wrote:

“I LEAVE @NTVKENYA AS I CAME: HUMBLED & GRATEFUL. THE JOB WAS ONE OF THE GREAT HONOURS OF MY LIFE. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO WATCHED, AND TO NATION FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF THE OPPORTUNITY. I’M PROUD OF MY AMAZING COLLEAGUES & EVERYTHING WE ACCOMPLISHED. FAREWELL, MY FRIENDS. STAY WOKE”
He exits the company days after eight columnists quit their job over irreconcilable differences with their bosses.

In the past he terminated his contract for writing for Daily Nation’s The Front Row.

“THIS WEEK, THE @DAILYNATION REFUSED TO PRINT MY COLUMN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN NEARLY 4 YEARS.
THE IRONY ASIDE, THE SAME PIECE IS NOW PUBLISHED ON CNN”
He added:

“ON THURSDAY, I TERMINATED MY CONTRACT TO WRITE THE #FRONTROW COLUMN IN THE @DAILYNATION. IT WAS AN HONOUR & I’M GRATEFUL TO THE PAPER FOR THE PAGE SINCE AUGUST 2014.”
