Man Locks Pakistani Boss In Toilet, Runs Away With Ksh1.5 Million

A man was summoned in court after he supposedly secured his outsider supervisor in the can and carried off Ksh1.5 million among different belongings.

Victor Okoth Ombewa supposedly bolted his Pakistani supervisor Abdul Waheed and fled with the cash and his sack.

As per a police report, Waheed had left his sack under the consideration of the suspect before venturing into the washroom.

He, notwithstanding, found that something was awry when he endeavored to open the entryway just to find it had been bolted from outside.

He, subsequently, stayed in the toilet for close to one hour before someone else opened the door for him.

Ombewa was also nabbed with stolen goods that included a laptop, bag, keys, Pakistan passport, mobile phone, WI-Fi gadget and KRA PIN all valued at Ksh30,000.

He was arraigned in court and charged with stealing the money and all the other items.

He, however, pleaded not guilty and was released on a Ksh50,000 bond.

The matter is set for hearing on July 4 this year.
