National Resistance Movement’s self-proclaimed ‘General’ Miguna Miguna has heaped praise on former NTV Managing Director Linus Kaikai as he exits the media house after over a decade.
In a Tweet, Miguna heralded Kaikai as a journalist who stood out as an ‘upright and a quintessential professional.’
Miguna, who is in worldwide tour to popularize NRM’s agenda after being unceremoniously ‘deported’ to Canada, added that he respects Kaikai and wished him all the best.
The Kenyan media is notorious for mediocrity, incompetence and moral contamination but @LinusKaikai stood out as an upright and a quintessential professional JOURNALIST whom I PROFOUNDLY RESPECT. I wish you the very best in your endeavours, Chief. #UhuruMustGo pic.twitter.com/i9HKP38gYB

On his part, city lawyer Donald Kipkorir said that Kaikai was the ‘true North Star of a conscientious Journalist’ and that he succeeded beyond measure.
Kipkorir highlighted that Kaikai was amongst the few people who reached the pinnacle of their careers.
Dear Linus Kaikai .. Few people reach pinnacle of their careers, any career .. And more so, fewer Pastoralists do so … You succeeded beyond .. You are the true North Star of a conscientious Journalist. No person can hold a candle to you … As you exit NMG, I wish you Godspeed.
