ODM leader Raila Odinga maintained a relatively low-key affair during his four-day tour in Germany.
The former Prime Minister was initially scheduled for a 5-day trip that would see him hold talks with various business leaders in Germany with a view of having them channel investments to Kenya.
Other activities that had been scheduled during the trip included delivering lectures to students, holding talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and holding celebrations with Kenyans living in Germany.
While in Frankfurt, Mr Odinga and his delegation, comprising, among others, Taita Taveta GovernorJohn Mruttu and Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga visited agricultural implements manufacturer Deere, Heidelberg Cement and technology firms Siemens and SAP technologies.
The trip had been delayed to allow the ODM leader attend the burial of William Ole Ntimama.
He concluded the trip by meeting Kenyans living in Frankfurt on Saturday night.
The trip is a continuation of engagements dating back to 2013 that have seen the former Premier visit China, the US, India, UK and South Korea to promote ODM counties as investment centres.
Odinga landed at JKIA on Sunday and is expected to lead the Orange party in a series of rallies in Taita Taveta.
