President Uhuru Kenyatta Reshuffles Cabinet

According to reports President Uhuru Kenyatta has made changes to his cabinet.

According to Executive Order No.3 of 2019, the president has made the following changes:

Former Knec Chairman George Magoha has been nominated as Education CS while Amina Mohamed has been moved to the Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts.

Wildlife PS Dr Margaret Mwakima, CBS has been moved to the State Department of East African Community Affairs (EAC)

EAC and Northern corridor PS Dr Susan Koech has been moved to the Wildlife Department.

Environment PS Ali Noor Ismail has been transferred to the Cooperatives docket.

Health PS Peter Kiplagat has been transferred to the Labour docket.

Labour PS Dr Ibrahim M. Mohamed, CBS has been transferred to the State Department of Environment & Forestry

President Uhuru dropped Rashid Echesa as Sports CS and Fatuma Hirsi as Broadcasting and Telecommunications PS.

State House was reported to be mooting a Cabinet reshuffle in light of the corruption allegations marring Uhuru’s appointees.
