Why Deputy President Ruto should market his 2022 presidential bid in Nyanza


Deputy President William Ruto’s allies in Nyanza, want him to visit Kisumu and market his 2022 Presidential bid. Nyanza branch Jubilee secretary-general Mr. Steve Biko asked Ruto to reach out to all communities as he steps up his Presidential bid.
We need to see a more comprehensive approach displayed by Ruto as he campaigns rest of Kenyans to back his offer to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta,”Biko said He spoke as it emerged that a Catholic Church has invited the Deputy President for a pledge raiser in September 2018. The St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kisumu kept in touch with Ruto on July 24, requesting that he grace the function. Individuals from the function organizing council Richard Onyisi and Cephas Kasera said they had affirmed the deputy president got the letter and were sitting tight for his reaction.
